New York City based alto saxophonist and composer Jonas Ganzemuller has been recognized as one of the most innovative and expressive young musicians on the jazz scene. He captivates not only with his distinctive, powerful voice on the saxophone, but also as a highly original composer.

At 26, Jonas Ganzemuller has already appeared at renowned festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival and clubs as Dizzy's/Lincoln Center (New York) and has performed with jazz legends including Joey Calderazzo, Bob Mintzer, Miguel Zenon, and Joe Lovano. For his musical achievements, he has been awarded numerous awards and scholarships by competitive institutions including the North American Saxophone Alliance, the D.A.A.D., and the Huygens, N.F.P.K., and Prins Bernhard scholarship foundations.
