Vortrag von Jessica Strain, d.a.i. Tübingen. The USA, with all its pristine wilderness, has a strong history of environmental protection and conservation. Why then is the nation so hesitant to acknowledge the problem of global climate change and take action against it? The USA will serve as a case study as we examine global climate change through the four natural elements: fire, water, earth and air. We will discuss how each of these systems are changing, and how these changes will affect future generations. We will debate various points from both an American and German perspective.
